Just a spoon full of blended mocha made the theatre popping go down quite well t’other day.  Let’s see, first i was privy to “Zombieland”, a somewhat creepy and gory film about how four people survive in zombieland.  Then, because the movie I really wanted to go to didn’t start for another hour and a half, I popped into “Couples’ Retreat.”  That ended, after a few laughs from me and a feeling of “wait… so most of them cheated on each other and still are happy?”  Of course after that ended there was STILL a wait for Inglourious Basterds, so i popped on into “The Invention of Lying.”  Never before have I been so happy to be able to pop OUT of a theater after 30 minutes.  I won’t even indulge that movie with a rant.  Perhaps it could’ve gotten better, I’ll never know.

Then, with great anticipation, I stepped into the theatre that we had all been waiting for.  Inglourious Basterds began with a bang, and  the movie kept me guessing throughout.  I must warn, however, that the gore was a bit intense at times, and this is not a movie for the faint of heart.  Keep in mind that i just got out of Zombieland, which is a quite gory film in itself (although mostly comical gore), and that paled in comparison to this.  There weren’t necessarily a plethora of people seen killed in the film (like in say, Rambo), but you see mutilation of bodies and some very graphic kills. I.B. had many parts that will make you laugh, many that will leave you disturbed, and many that will make you nazi-haters out there cheer.  If you don’t mind lots of violence and cursing, and are into the death of Nazis, then you will probably enjoy this movie to some extent or another.  If, however, you don’t like violence and cursing, or Nazis dying (o.O), then you probably should steer clear of this movie (and all WWII video games…)

Just got out of french class.  I gotta say, it dragged like no other today.  I wouldn’t say it was the most boring thing that has ever happened to me in my life… but it was pretty darn boring.

Anyways, I’m going to go another direction with this post.  I had some delicious pizza the other day, the only thing is now I want pizza again and i can’t have it.  I might go get some flaming wok in our mall soon.  I keep hearing about these movies that i haven’t seen, Inglourious Basterds, Zombieland, District 9, etc.  Evidently they are pretty good (at least according to R.Ink researchers).

I’m kind of feeling like its time to make this site into a bit of a forum or perhaps something similar to that…
