It’s been a good run… A noble effort, a valiant fight.  Yet all good things must come to an end.  Seeing as the usual half-life of my projects is about a millisecond, this has been a pretty darn good run.  Yes.  This is it.  The obligatory apologetic blog telling you imaginary people out there that I am done.  Through… finished. Hasta. Pasta.

To be fair, it was nothing you did… (you really haven’t done that much, actually, so I suppose it’s partially the nothing you’ve done).  Really, it is the fact that you seem to have cursed my life to the point where any computer I use will die (of course the logical thing to do is blame you).  For example, I got my first laptop and it ran smoothly and well.  I kept it clean and nice but one day unexpectedly it died.  By that time it was two years old, so I mourned its passing yet knew it was its time.  But then I got a new laptop.  A young, smaller, sleeker version of my last laptop.  I decided to go for an ultraportable lappy, much to my chagrin, however, this ended in the way most things in my life seem to end, too quickly.  A burst of light and baboom, the little tyke of a compy would no longer boot up (last time I get a GD Asus….)  So there I was… pondering… thinking… mulling it over… when it hit me.  I’d only had the computer for 20 days.  Hey… I could get a refund off of Amazon.com.  Score.  Yahtzee.  Mauzeltauff (correct spelling is for nazis.)

So I’ve sent my little lone lappy to amazon.com so I can hopefully get a full refund for the POS netbook they sent me.  I’m not bitter… Actually, I’m pretty happy, because their customer service was pretty darn good and polite.  I’ll be content with 85%… but hopefully i get more.

All this to say, I no longer have ready access to a computer, and, quite frankly, computers are overrated anyways.  I’d much rather be doing something with my life… like… exercising (lol) (ya right) (rofl).  Basically I’ve decided that with my current track record with computers (literally every single one I touch turns to proverbial dust), it would probably be in my best interest to stop throwing money into them.  Electronics are fickle, and they are pretty much the worst investments ever as far as depreciation of value goes.  So (because I’m really money conscious right now), I’ve decided to instead by (lol this is where i actually wrote “by” instead of “buy”… oh the irony) a PS3… that way It will be impervious to my electrokillosis.

Perhaps I’ll find a way to get back on here every once in a blue moon… I’m sorry babe… you’ve been my best online experience yet (apart from the first time I saw the numa numa guy…)  It saddens me that we have to end like this… I’ll be back… R.inc will go on.

I haven’t written anything on here in awhile!

Sad. Too bad I don’t have more inspiration or creativity right now… I just got off work.

The End.

Obama pardoned a turkey named Courage* this year.  Well Obama, you promised change, and i think it’s about time a Chicken was pardoned.  Why are you hating on the chickens of the world?  They deserve equal rights as the turkey.  I think that we should pay the chickens a few billion dollars (for fowl treatment of them) and close Chick Fil A for good.  It’s simply time for equal standing with chickens and turkeys alike, and if we can’t bring chickens up to the level of turkeys by glory we’ll bring turkeys down to the level of chickens.

*Ok this is off topic… but seriously?  Can you do anything that isn’t so fricken serious with underlying messages?  You’re making my head hurt (and it’s not from the wittiness of your messages). And now that i’m finished with that little rant, looking back at my post I am filled with a great sense of irony…

So i was thinking today (while perusing the many comments of much spammedness), that you can always tell a spambot straight off the bat because they are so polite.  “Hello, I’m Derrick from Azerbaijan, and I really need help with teeth whitening solutions.“*   No one talks like that.  And then there is the obligatory “Hey, love the site, I’m going to subscribe and tell All my friends!”  Gag me.

So here’s what spambot programmers need to do (it’s quite simple): Make your spambots really rude.  Just trash the site and call it aweful, etc.  Then (in the same place they do the sites with the nice comments) put their site right there.  People will probably be more prone to click it, just because, AND once people get used to it they will probably think that every person who trashes their site is just a spammer.  Problems.  Solved.

With nothing else really left to say, I suppose i will just throw up a poem from the elder days. (and perhaps throw in a picture i drew with Facebook Graffitti).

There is a pretty little town,
a place without a spot of brown.
The grass is all green;
the houses all sheen,
and there is only beautiful bird sound.

And indeed a picture so enduring,
must be terribly alluring,
people traveled for miles,
wearing their plastic smiles,
for a new home under the ground.

Scotch. Scotchy scotch scotch.

You know what I’m in the mood for? Coffee… good coffee. The kind you get at coffee shops. To go with the caramel macchiato I would totally buy right now, I would love to have a good conversation. You know… the stimulating kind with depth.

I also wish that the comments on our blog wasn’t all just spam all the time. The good comments are only from Mullet and I. We need real commentators.

I just ate potato wedges and a rib sandwich. Talk about tickling the tastebuds. I had a cookie bar for dessert. Mmm…. minxy.

I agree with Mullet that shrimp are sexy… but I’d take it a step further and call shrimp SOXY. (Refer to one of my past blogs to understand that meaning of that statement.)

I’m excited for church tomorrow. I want a hug.

I wonder what hamsters think about.

Lately I’ve been traversing the web, looking at different web pages and all sorts of paraphernalia, dreaming of the day i too could become a famous rapper.  All that to say, I think it’s time for us to change Randomnessinc.com and find our niche in the internettal society.   What I’m thinking is this:

We give ourselves a store, where you can buy R. Inc garbage.

We make our website less of a blog and more of a … website. We’ll still include a bloggingness area, but we’re going to be so much more now.

We will sell stuff, give junk away, and do all kinds of wonderful things.  All this will be done in my spare time with my moolah AND money that is generated by ads which i will be putting on here soon enough (and a donate button most probably).

So it’s time to make Randomnessinc.com something better.  It’s time, for change!  YES WE CAN …etc.

SO i’m going to need a kicking website design and possibly even a geek to work on that junk (and share our massive revenue.)  Don’t make me design it… that would be uncomfortable.  (Although a MS Paint background would be pretty cool).

Anyhoo, today I learned that Mountain Dew is pretty darn good once it’s frozen and a bit slushified, and also that sun screen is pretty darn flammable (hopefully you don’t sit out in the sun under a magnifying glass and burst into flame whilst covered in sunscreen).

On second thought, although nothing happened today, something interesting DID happen the other day.  So i was at a party, and of course there were girls there (thankfully).  I found myself strangely drawn to this girl.

What it was that i was so drawn to I’ll probably never know.  She wasn’t all that attractive, and she had braces and was wearing leg warmers, which, normally, i wouldn’t find that appealing.  However in this case, i found myself oddly attracted to her braced teeth and warm ankles… If only i had had a chance to talk to her… unfortunately i found myself vomiting and passing out on the cement (doing a nice face-plant maneuver) before i ever had the opportunity.  Will i ever find her and get to talk to her about the 80’s, i dont know… but maybe, just maybe, one of these days i will run into her again.

How can we definitively say when life begins?  That’s a question that has plagued society for a long time now… and i address it and ask, can we really answer that?

Ok… so i’ve been thinking about abortion and christian viewpoints and atheistic viewpoints, so i tried to take the middle ground and look at it objectively without being influenced by my worldview. (note that this is concerning times when the mother’s life isn’t in danger, and when it’s not a rape victim, because those are HUGE topics… as is this… but anyways)

I believe that we all think murder is wrong. I also firmly believe we don’t KNOW when live begins or when it doesn’t begin.

So along these lines, no matter if you are christian or atheist, since we can’t definitively say when life begins, it would be best to err on the side of inerrency. Eliminating abortion would therefore make it so that there is no CHANCE we’re committing murder, something that is outlawed in every state, and in most of the world.

My belief that we don’t know when life begins comes from these facts:
a. because of genetics, we could take a bunch of fetuses and lay them together, then test them, and we’d know which species they belong to. SO since we could definitively tell that that baby IS human, no matter HOW it looks, then we can’t say it’s alive or not.

I’d say that atheists should be MORE against abortion than christians, and here’s why: Christians believe that we have a soul. The soul is what defines us, makes us “living” beings. SO we don’t know if you have a soul before birth. But Atheists don’t believe that we have a soul (most, at least), therefore, since something is human, they should be against it being killed.

Interesting thought at least… let me know what you think ;)

*Edit* 11-27-09

And i just thought about another thing. Someone told me the other day that the only thing that think is wrong with killing people is the ties to other people in the world they have, which is just ridiculous.

For example, let’s say that someone has lost everyone in his family, no one knows him and he’s all alone, but not unhappy (like a Robinson Crusoe situation). So by their argument anyone could kill them if they wanted… but no one would think that’s right, so they would have to say that there is more to it as well, that humans have thoughts and feelings. But babies do have physical feelings, and as far as thought goes, thought would imply a mind, and if we don’t always have a mind then the mind must be separate from our body, which would therefore mean the mind is our soul (atypically mind and soul are considered the same, when thought of as separate from the body). And without the supernatural we couldn’t have a soul… so basically if you’re atheist your going to have to accept my first argument, that babies are living… or you can accept that we have a soul separate from our bodies… you decide :)
